Apple is providing the "Apple TV" app for Google's "Android TV" and "Google TV," but with the latest update to this app, you can subscribe, buy, or rent content that you might have lost before. The American Daring Fireball reported on March 21 (local time). I was able to confirm it in my environment.

In the Apple TV app on Android TV, what used to be the Buy button is now the View As button.

When you press this button, you can subscribe to the Apple TV App on your iPhone, iPad, and other streaming devices, or subscribe to the Apple TV App on tv.apple.com as follows (if you haven't already): You can Subscribe to TV+. ” display, then press the OK button to return to the original screen.

As of this writing, Apple's support page has not yet reflected the change, saying "Sign in with your Apple ID to subscribe to channels, buy or rent movies, or buy TV shows. I'll do it."

According to Darling Fireball's John Gruber, Apple has until now been exempted from using Google's IAP (Identity-Aware Proxy), but that has expired and has already reached an agreement on the fee. This is not true.
